Maryland native, Malcs, set out to change the forecast in late 2014 with his debut mixtape titled 'The Project'. Prior to the release of his debut mixtape, Malcs came very close to securing a record deal with music executive Andre Harrell during his time with Atlantic Records in 2013 when he was actively searching for new artists to sign to his label imprint, Harrell Records, which was distributed through Atlantic Records. “Mr. Harrell definitely prepared me as an artist. With early support from 94.3’s (Houston) Program Director and OVO’s legendary DJ, OG Ron C, Malcs saw early radio play in Houston.

Malcs looks to use his upcoming tape “The Rest Is History” to explain his life experiences, speak on the transition into Corporate America, and showcase various situations he has found himself in throughout the past year. Malcs is living through some of the frustrations and issues that artists like Drake, Diddy, Rick Ross & Kanye face -- being creative and not allowing society or corporations to put you in one box.
